Key Research Contributions
Developed a new scientometric measure — the Modified Collaborative Coefficient — to quantify the degree of research collaboration, published in Scientometrics journal (Impact Factor: 2.770). This measure is widely cited in bibliometric research.
Ph.D. thesis and published study on the life and works of Eugene Garfield, founder of the Science Citation Index. A comprehensive scientometric portrait tracing the development of information science.
Designed and developed the digital library of Sir C.V. Raman at Raman Research Institute, Bangalore. All scientific publications of the Nobel Laureate were digitized, copyright clearances obtained, and the content made open access globally. Accessible at http://dspace.rri.res.in
Contributed to designing the "Imprints Collection" database at RRI — a new-generation information retrieval tool showcasing lifetime research accomplishments of retired scientific and technical staff, including publications, awards, photo albums, and popular lectures.
Conducted multiple scientometric studies on research output of BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) in Economics, Mathematics, and Thin Film research, published in leading UGC-approved journals.
